About Antler

Antler backs the world’s most ambitious founders from the very start. Founded on the belief that innovation is the key to building a better future, we partner with people across six continents to launch and scale high-potential startups that address meaningful opportunities and challenges. Knowing that exceptional founders can come from anywhere with any background, we have offices in 30 cities, including New York, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Bangalore, Singapore, Seoul, and Sydney.

Our global community supports founders on deep business model validation, initial capital, expansion support, and follow-on funding. Fueled by a personal passion that goes beyond traditional investing, we have helped create and invested in more than 1,500 startups across a wide range of industries and technologies.

A better future won’t happen automatically—the world needs talented, determined, and resilient people to build it. Antler team members are part of an ambitious global community dedicated to helping the most driven founders move the world forward

The Role

As an Associate in Antler’s Elevate Global Fund, you will work closely with senior members of the investment team to source, evaluate, and support high-potential startups across pre-Series A to Series C stages.

You will be involved across the full investment lifecycle — from sourcing and diligence through to deal execution and post-investment portfolio support — and will work with team members based in Singapore and across Antler’s global platform.

This is a hands-on role suited for individuals who are intellectually curious, commercially sharp, and excited to work at the intersection of technology, business, and entrepreneurship

Responsibilities

As an Associate, you will:

  • Source and evaluate high-quality investment opportunities across APAC and globally
  • Analyze markets, industries, and technology trends across sectors such as AI, B2B/SaaS, consumer, fintech, deep-tech, healthtech, and others
  • Lead and support investment diligence (quantitative and qualitative), including
    • Market sizing, competitive analysis, and business model assessment
    • Financial analysis (unit economics, retention, LTV/CAC, returns)
    • Product and technology assessment (roadmap, scalability, feasibility)
  • Prepare and present investment memos and deep-dive analyses for internal decision-making
  • Support deal execution, including coordination with founders, co-investors, internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with portfolio companies post-investment on strategic, product, and operational initiatives
  • Build and manage relationships with founders, operators, and ecosystem partners across the region
  • Help improve and scale internal investment processes, tooling, and knowledge management
  • Independently drive communications and processes on behalf of senior investment team members – both internal processes as well as engagements with Founders, CXOs, and other stakeholders in the ecosystem

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of full time experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally spanning both technical and business contexts (e.g., software/product, consulting, banking, investing, strategy)
  • Strong analytical and structured thinker, comfortable working across both business and technical topics
  • Able to engage credibly with founders, product leaders, and engineers — and translate technical concepts into business implications
  • Comfortable performing both technical analysis (e.g., system architecture, technical feasibility) and business analytics (e.g., market sizing, retention, LTV/CAC, returns)
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, cohort analysis, product/technical evaluation
  • Curious about technology, startups, and how new products create commercial and societal impact
  • Self-driven, organised, and able to manage multiple workstreams independently
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with the ability to synthesize complex ideas clearly
  • Existing interest in, or network within, the startup or venture ecosystem
  • Strong relationship-builder, able to develop trust across both technical and business communities throughout APAC
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and assess technical innovation
  • Independent and proactive with a can-do attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and a strong work ethic
  • Nice-to-have / bonuses
    • Background or exposure in computer science, engineering, or technical product development
    • Experience working with or evaluating AI, deep-tech, developer-led companies
    • Language skills in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean

What we offer

  • High ownership and responsibility from day one
  • A Singapore base with exposure to investing experience in thriving technology hubs APAC (SEA, India, Australia, Korea and Japan)
