The Shared CFO & Portfolio Support Role

Core Responsibilities
- Portfolio support:
- Provide shared CFO services to Antler’s portfolio companies, including detailed assessments of a startup’s ability to manage and benefit from working capital loans (from Antler’s Fund II)
- Stay on top of Antler’s portfolio support offerings (partnerships, advisory network, etc.), and ensure founders are aware and have easy access to our resources
- Support the portfolio companies in fundraising and fundraising preparations
- Support the portfolio companies as they grow, including problem solving, introductions, and specific deepdives (as/when helpful)
- Program support:
- Support founders in the Antler program as they work out their business models and financials
- Run and continuously improve Antler’s masterclasses on topics that relate to finance and accounting (such as financial modeling, unit economics, etc.)
- Fundraising & reporting:
- Support Antler’s fundraising efforts (grants and fund capital)
- Work with our fund administrator to ensure execution of fund-related documents and compliance requirements
- Lead the regular and ad-hoc investor reporting and other inbound reporting requests
- Assist with other matters as required and as they occur
Core Expertise
- 10+ years experience in management consulting, financial management, business development, or similar
- Previous experience in managing a complex and scalable finance processes, preferably from a fund (PE or VC) and/or a high-growth startup
- Firsthand lending experience would be a plus
- Master’s Degree from an accredited University, preferably in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Control, Business Management etc.)
