About the role

As a Scouting and Residency Intern, you will support various tasks related to our founder residency. You'll get to follow an incredible group of founders while they are building new startups, and see the process from an idea being formed, to some getting funded. You'll get to learn more about how a Venture Capital company makes their investment decisions and support our local team in Helsinki in orchestrating the day-to-day operations of the residency and in the process of attracting the best talent to the residency.

Start date: Early August 2025. This is a 4-month full-time role and on-site at our office in Helsinki.

Responsibilities

Our Nordic residency will start on the 1st of September and last for 12 weeks. Below is a little insight into what to expect.

Scouting: before the start of the Residency and again towards the end of your internship

• Assist in executing founder scouting-related processes for Antler’s Nordic Residency in Helsinki.
• Support in the process of identifying and attracting the best talent to the cohort, while occasionally supporting in the screening processes of incoming applications.
• Help in arranging networking events and other activities held at our office

Residency Program: during the 12-week Residency

• Support the Residency team to blueprint, assemble, and manage the operations of the residency, aiming at the best experience possible for our entrepreneurs.
• Help run our cohorts by managing the day-to-day founder communications, operations, and logistics.
• Other administrative and operational tasks are associated with this role’s varied nature.
• Work closely with the Residency lead and the rest of the Antler team, including interactions with founders, partners, and advisors.

What we look for

• You have a genuine interest in founders and the startup and VC ecosystem.
• You're comfortable with quick changes, tight deadlines, and moving targets.
• An ability to be present at our office in Helsinki on a daily basis for the duration of the internship.
