The role 

Antler Nordics runs a lean, high-output finance function — and you'll be the one leading it. As Finance Manager, you'll own the full financial picture across our Nordic operating companies and two funds, managing a Finance Associate and acting as a trusted partner to our Nordic Partners and the global Antler finance team.

This is a broad, senior role with real strategic weight. You'll work closely with our Nordic Partners and the global Antler finance team, covering everything from fund operations and valuations to tax, legal, and regulatory compliance across all Nordic entities — making judgement calls, not just processing them.

Responsibilities

Fund & financial oversight

• Own fund accounting end-to-end, including valuations, coordination with external fund administrators, capital calls, KYC/AML, and investor account statements
• Lead the annual closing process for all Nordic entities — financial statements, tax reporting, and audit management
• Drive monthly financial reporting to local Partners and global finance with clear performance analysis and recommendations
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the Nordic operating companies and funds
• During fundraising periods, support all finance and operational workstreams related to the new fund — including fund structuring, legal coordination, investor onboarding, and compliance setup

Compliance & external relations

• Serve as the primary point of contact on all finance-related matters with investors, governmental regulatory bodies, tax authorities, auditors, and corporate partners
• Ensure full and timely compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements across all Nordic jurisdictions
• Lead corporate and VAT tax strategy and oversee payroll and employer obligations

Leadership & operations

• Manage and mentor the Finance Associate, setting priorities and maintaining high standards across the team
• Connect Nordic operations with Antler's global finance function -  owning key deliverables in the group consolidation process
• Identify and lead initiatives to automate workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and build infrastructure that scales

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or fund operations — you've owned a function before, not just supported one
• Strong working knowledge of fund accounting, valuations, and VC fund structures
• Experienced navigating complex regulatory and tax environments across multiple jurisdictions
• A confident and credible communicator — equally effective with investors, regulators, auditors, and internal leadership
• Sharp, structured thinker who brings clarity to ambiguous situations and knows when to escalate
• Proven ability to manage and develop junior team members
• An eye for process improvement — ideally you already use AI in your workflows and are always looking to do things smarter
• Experience with Nordic finance and tax frameworks is a strong advantage
